Soon We Will No Longer Be Young

March 28, 2013

So last night for some odd reason, me and my brothers & sisters decided to give-a-go at making our own somewhat homemade pizza. How'd we come up with the idea you ask? Probably because as kids we were deprived from those good old Lunchables meals that every cool kid seemed to bring to school for lunch. Now full speed ahead! When we opened our refrigerator we realized we had some sausages just chilling there you know, next door were some whole wheat tortillas just laying there, and some cheese just sitting there. Ding! Heck why not experiment a little for the goodness youth that's in us. Fetched some tomato sauce and BAM! Now don't kid me wrong, I'm not joking when I say that this "pizza" of ours turned out pretty darn good. Especially since we toasted it a bit and the wrap was oh so nice and crispy & crunchy on the edge. Baby just looking at these photos is making me wanna get in that kitchen and give this thing another go.

You're Running Off the Phone

Yesterday was the last day of spring break with all my college friends upstate, and today is the official last day until it's time to say farewell. I can't say I spent the break as wisely and nicely as I had originally planned, then again I can't say I didn't enjoy it! Instead of spending the day going to busy and big places like we did over winter break, we spent this break roaming a petit village near the area. There were honestly so many nice and dainty items in the little shops that were all pretty darn reasonable prices for tourists, but considering the fact that I basically grew up around the area, they weren't exactly in my budget so I came home empty-handed sadly *sigh*. And if you scroll down enough you can probably conclude that it wasn't the warmest winter break. But hey, the somewhat chilly weather made it all the better when we stopped by a little inn in the village for some hot cocoa and tea.
Kudos to my beloved sister, Rosy, for making it possible for me to upload majority of these photos.xoxo

Hollywood Won't Save You

March 22, 2013

Yesterday was the second day of spring but you know what, that didn't stop mother nature from torturing us with this everlasting winter weather; chilly winds plus snow. Don't get me wrong though, I love snow with its infinite glorious beauty but hey, you can't blame a girl for wanting to enjoy the spring season. Whenever I go out these days I always gotta throw on my winter jacket and I only have a total of three of them to last the winter season so it constantly feels as though I'm repeating the same sets of outfits minus the bottoms and shoes that I wear. Man, I should probably start filling up my closet with more varieties of coats/jackets. On the other hand, today the weather's looking gorgeous and sunny! Though don't let that feel you, it's a ridiculous 30F outside here in New Jersey. Nonetheless, what better way to spend the day dreaming of all the wonderful things to wear this spring then to browse polyvore and pretend I could afford my dream wardrobe.

It's Not About Sex or Champagne

Is it possible to feel so relaxed yet feel so busy? I got heaps of papers to do and exams to study for yet I'm just loafing around the house playing Mario Kart with my siblings. And if any of you have ever played it, you should be well aware of how addicting it can be. In addition to my slacking I've been really inspired by the whole black&white/greyscale look and I've been having the urge to revert back to my natural black hair but when I look back at those days I'm thinking...maybe not. Then again we'll see, we'll see. Maybe the grey sky and weather has been influencing me unconsciously, who knows. Oh yeah, spring is just days aways and apparently there's a snow storm hitting New England. Seriously?! Welps, there goes my hopes for warmer weather. Anywho, here's a little collection I put together for you guys to stare at for days on end while I try to get all my papers and work over with. Ta! Ta!

Lovers' Suicide

March 2, 2013

I absolutely love that spring is just around the corner (okay maybe that's a wee bit of an exaggeration since there's technically about 3 more weeks to go) which undoubtedly means that spring break is near it's way, but at the same time I hate how that also means that mid-terms are creeping up. Nonetheless, I'm done with this chilly New England weather and ready for our gorgeous 75F warm, spring weather. And without further ado, great golly finally an outfit/look post! I originally wanted to try to squeeze one in for February but with just 28 days to get everything done before the sun shuts down on me, it turned out to be a tougher mission than I had estimated. Genuinely, to make up for me being the bummiest bum of all bums and failing in my duties to update my blog at least once a week, I made sure to get in an outfit post in the first days of March.
